The Cottages ......

Built in the traditional style, Kerford Cottages offer a very high standard of comfort and convenience, set in a quiet and peaceful location, with spectacular views over Kenmare Bay, Macgillycuddy Reeks and the Caha Mountains.
Situated just 7km outside the heritage town of Kenmare which is renowned for its beauty and tourist attractions, Kerford Cottages are also within five minutes of seashore and pebble beaches.
Its location also makes an excellent base for exploring the fascinatingly beautiful Ring of Beara and also the Ring of Kerry.

The cottages are set in peaceful, tranquil surroundings with ample private car parking and a large garden with outdoor seating for you to enjoy the breathtaking views.
We have both two and three bedroomed cottages each with lounge, with traditional style open fireplace and colour television and video recorder. A good selection of videos and books are in the lounge for your use, also outdoor/indoor games.
The kitchen is fully fitted with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, auto washer, drier etc. |

The Bedrooms ......

Both cottages have double and twin bedrooms, whilst the three bedroom cottage has an additional double room with ensuite. All rooms are fully furnished, bathrooms have electric shower, wash basin and w.c. Bed linen and towels are included in the price as well as an initial supply of fuel for the open fire. Electricity is paid for on departure.
Both cottages are truly a home from home with your comfort in mind.

Things to do ......
|
Touring the surrounding areas from Kerford Cottages is a pleasure not to be missed. The famed Ring of Kerry with its 110 miles of breathtaking views is complimented, if not beaten by the spectacular Ring of Beara - which is not so crowded as the Ring in the high season.
Short enchanting drives to places like Glenichaquin Falls, Clonee Lakes, Healy Pass and the Caha Pass will leave life long memories.
For the more energetic guests water sports are in abundance, diving, sailing, windsurfing and canoeing are all available. There are a number of horse riding stables nearby to suit novice or experienced riders, cycle hire is available locally, and if you would like to be pampered while staying with us why not book a massage/facial at the Sheen Falls which also has swimming pool facilities.

The Star Sailing & Adventure Centre is half a mile from the Cottages and has excellent facilities and a first class restaurant, the Centre also has daily pleasure cruises around the Kenmare Bay.
There is also the Seafari nature tours leaving from the Harbour in Kenmare which is a two hour cruise around the Bay for Seal and Wildlife watching.
A lot of the pubs in the area offer regular Irish Music nights - great fun if you can stand the pace - join in - if not sit back, relax and enjoy the Guinness!!
Many of our guests fall under the spell of our enchanting piece of Ireland and return year after year.

Prices for low season start at 200euros, high season:- Three bedroom Cottage 550euros Two Bedroom cottage 500euros.
Only one dog is allowed at a supplement of 25euros per week.
